To help speed up the repair time at Erie CB we have a large stock of repair parts on hand of the most common problems. Over the past 22 years we have also developed some extensive upgrades to better enhance your radios performance.  A full description of our upgrades are available on our Repairs and Upgrades page. The How to Check Your SWR page is all about doing just that, checking your SWR, it will show you how to use both built-in and external SWR meters. Our Tech Support section was specifically set up to help everyone with common diagnostics and repair of your system. With everything becoming more and more expensive these days it's important to be able to save as much money as possible. With some basic tests you will be able to narrow down your problems and most likely repair them yourself. So whether your an "Old Hand" or a "Novice" to the CB world you will be able to benefit from the information in our Tech Support section. Bookmark this site and stop back often, this site is upgraded as frequently as possible to keep you up to date with all of the merchandise changes as well as continuing updates to the Tech Support section.

Erie CB originally opened in 1986 under the name “CAT Electronics” by our founder Randy Kokes.  The shop was located inside the “Green Shingle Truck stop” in Fairview Pennsylvania, at I- 90 exit 18 (Old exit 5).  In  1995 the business changed its name to Erie CB and expanded the shop and moved to a larger room within the Green Shingle. In 1998 The business was taken over by myself “Radio Bob” Gloskey, an employee since 1989. In 2001 the Green Shingle Truck stop (now called Dixie Truckers Home) had closed its doors forcing Erie CB to relocate our operations to the TA Travel Centers in Harborcreek Pennsylvania at exit 35 (old exit 10) on I-90. In conjunction with our move we upgraded our line of test equipment on the bench so a more accurate and efficient alignment could be done to your radio equipment.
